Meet the therapist
Hi, I’m Kat. I’m so glad you’re here!
I specialize in trauma (C-PTSD and PTSD), grief, relational challenges, identity, and transpersonal experiences. My approach is first and foremost: human. Sessions with me are a chance to dive deeper, get clarity, and feel that you have someone who really is on your team—because I am. This is a space for you to show up as yourself without judgment. Together we will navigate challenges, celebrate successes, everything that exists in-between, and create a vision for your present and future that feels purposeful and empowering.
My approach beyond what is mentioned above includes a variety of evidence-based modalities such as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment therapy), Gestalt parts-work, mindfulness based CBT, DBT and IFS-informed interventions. I am also level 1 trained in Collaborative Problem Solving, an evidence based modality for reducing undesired behaviors in youth.
I am a Professional Counselor Associate who provides individual therapy/counseling for adults and teens ages 16+. I received a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Southern Oregon University and a Bachelor of Art’s in contemplative psychology with a concentration in transpersonal psychology from Naropa University.
